Imposter No More: How to own your expertise in healthcare

Training Overview

Background

Imposter syndrome and self-doubt are the silent barriers to effective organizational performance and personal flourishing. For organisations, these phenomenon lead to many avoidable issues: Delays in nurses taking action, nurses not voicing otherwise helpful ideas, and nurses remaining stagnant and underperforming in their careers. These come at a cost in terms of lost productivity and efficiency, and missed opportunities for improved patient outcomes. On a personal level, unaddressed imposter syndrome and self-doubt come at a huge cost to a nurse’s wellbeing, career success and ultimately, their earning potential.

Through a series of interactive sessions, reflective exercises, and group discussions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of imposter syndrome and learn practical strategies to build a more resilient self-image in the demanding field of nursing.

Testimonials

Workshop feedback:

I attended Nathan's workshop on self-compassion for midwives recently and it was very enlightening. Amongst other things, he did some visualisation techniques with our group which I have found to be really beneficial. He taught us that they can be easily transferable for use with all sorts of situations. I have already felt the benefit of his session and it's amazing how 2.5 hours can have such a positive impact in so many ways instantly.
